I'm having the same problem with Transmit. Short files are fine, but any large file will display this error just at the last moment when it's almost finished uploading. It happens often, but not all the time though. Very frustrating.

I did get something from them. The last thing was:

"I'm not exactly sure how to configure that on an Airport router. But you can try bypassing it entirely and just plug into your cable or DSL modem (whichever one it is) directly.

Please let me know if there is no difference after trying that."

They mentioned that it can be a router issue. The only thing I can think of is that we recently changed to Airport Extreme. I have not tried having connection straight from DSL modem yet. I just think Transmit should know when something disconnects (times out) like that, then it should not just delete the content of the file. That's just not a good thing...

I'm having the same problem -- Transmit says:

Could not upload "filename".
Close error.

And then I'm stuck with a 0-byte file on my server and no way to fix it. I just reformatted my Macbook, I wonder if that has something to do with it...

Anyway, did you ever get a response from the Panicky boys?
